Peltier Peerless Patch Marbles

Peltier Peerless Patches can be identified from other vintage patches by the wavy border of the patches, distinct and often contrast colors, usually with little blending of colors along the borders. Peerless patches with non white bases are the most valuable of the common vintage patches. Peltier’s “Comic Marbles” were made in the 1930s and are marbles with stencils of one of eight comic characters fired on a Peerless Patch (usually with a white base). These comic marbles often bring $80 to $200 at auction depending upon the rareness of the character and condition of the marble.
