Milk Glass

Milk glass is an opaque or translucent, milk white or colored glass, blown or pressed into a wide variety of shapes. Milk glass can be white, as well as light pink, blue and other milky opaque colors. It was especially popular glass in the US during the late 1800s and the 1940s and 50s and remains widely collected today. Notable manufacturers include Kanawha Glass Co., Fenton Glass Company, Fostoria Glass Company, Imperial Glass Company, Mosser Glass, Westmoreland Glass Company, Federal Glass, and L.E. Smith Glass Company.
