This is a Postal Card mailed from a New York City business, Lyman Brown, to Blake Briggs in Port Byron New York. The card notes Mr. Briggs received a credit for 20 bottles of Barth returned. Lyman Brown is listed as a seller of patent medicines in a New York City directory of the period. The medicine returned was likely Alfred Barth Malaria Cure of Providence R.I. The card is not damaged, but has the obvious foxing on the front. In pencil, the postal card is identified as UX9.
