Souvenir Fort Halifax Winslam Porcelain Sugar Bowl Blockhouse

This is a porcelain souvenir bowl that of Fort Halifax in Winslam, ME. It features a transferware image of the fort's blockhouse, is otherwise unmarked, and stands only 2 inches (5 cm) tall. We estimate it dates to sometime between 1890 to 1920. Note the dilapidated condition of the fort; this is likely a clue to its age. It has no cracks, chips, or repairs.
