This fine porcelain china cup and saucer was made by Belleek Pottery Company of Fermanagh County, Ireland. This set is part of their traditional shamrock with basket weave pattern dinnerware in fine translucent porcelain. The cup has the golden yellow luster glaze inside the bowl. Each piece has the sixth Belleek mark, which is also the third green mark, which was used from 1965 to 1980. The saucer is 6 inches in diameter and the cup is 2 1/2 inches tall and 3 1/2 inches in diameter (without the handle). This style cup came in slightly different sizes over the years, so be sure to measure if you are matching it to another set.

It has no cracks, chips, crazing or repairs, and no apparent wear. This is a hand painted piece, and there is a small stray green brush stroke along the edge of the saucer, which you can see in the magnified view next to the penny, but it does not detract from the piece.
