1950 Crosley Shelvador Refrigerator Advertising token Gold Medal

This is a 38 mm diameter brass advertising coin or medal. One side reads "Shelvador Fashion Academy Gold Medal Award Winner" with an imprinted date of 1950. The other side reads" I believe in Luck and the harder I work the more I have" and "Pace setting ideas are coming from Crosley." Crosley was a refrigerator manufacturer, and Shelvador was one of the company's popular models in 1950-51. The medal has wear and toning as shown. It was probably handed out as a premium to customers and potential customers.
