Antique or Vintage Figural Mustard Jar Deer Stag Antler Form

This is an old or antique ceramic mustard or jam jar in the form of a piece of antler, with an antler horn handle, and the outline of stags and does in a cameo-like appearance. It stands only 3 inches (7.5 cm) tall. This type of heavy somewhat crude ceramic suggests it is a five-and-dime store piece from the 1920s or 1930s and probably made in Germany, but it could be later. It has a tiny flake off the rim above the stags and another tiny nick of the tip of an antler point underneath (hard to see in pictures); both of which could be touched up. A charming old piece.
