Occupied Japan Porcelain Buddha Censer Incense Burner Figurine

This incense burner, or censer, was made in occupied Japan. It is made of porcelain and features a Buddha holding a blue basket. It measures about 2 3/4" across and x 3 3/4" high (7 x 10 cm). It has no cracks, chips, or hairlines, but does have some rust on the base probably from sitting on a metal shelf. This piece can be found in various colors, but most are just marked Made in Japan, and the Occupied Japan versions are harder to find. It is of typical five and dime store quality workmanship of the Occupied Japan era.
