Ephemera
ephemera [i-fem-er-uh]: Transient everyday items, most often made of paper, designed to be useful or important for only a short time, esp. pamphlets, notices, tickets, etc. manufactured for a specific limited use, then often discarded. Includes everyday items that may be saved, at least for a while, such as keepsakes. The word derives from the Greek ephemeros, meaning "lasting only one day, short-lived". Collectible ephemera include advertising trade cards, bookmarks, catalogues, greeting cards, letters, pamphlets, postcards, posters, defunct stock certificates, and tickets.
