This a somewhat hard to find black and white post card of the Brant Point lighthouse on Nantucket. The card was produced by H. Marshall Gardiner. Gardiner (1884-1942) was a photographer noted for his hand colored photographs of Bermuda, Florida, and Nantucket, some of which were also made into postcards.
This a black and white probably dates to the 1920s or 1930s. It is not a true photograph, but some form of printing process. The production quality of this postcard is not as good as some of the other Gardiner post cards we have for sale, and it may have been produced at a different time than the others (note that it is signed "Gardiner's"). There is is small faint water spot stain in the front left edge, but it is in otherwise very good unused condition. It will be shipped via first class mail letter with card stock.
