This Industar 55mm f/2.8 N-61 L/D was taken from the FED 5C rangefinder camera sold elsewhere on this site. It features Leica M39 Thread Mount (LTM) and was made in 1993 according to the first two digits of the serial number. This is a Soviet copy of a Leica lens (a Tessar variant consisting of 4 elements in 3 groups), that was made for decades at a factory in the Ukraine. Close focus is one meter, and the lens takes 40.5mm filters. The lens weighs only 130 grams, and is a popular adapted lens on mirrorless digital cameras. The Bokeh balls become oval toward the periphery. Because of its short flange distance, on DSLR cameras it functions only as a close-focus macro lens. This example is clean with no fungus, haze, or damage, and only a few tiny specs of dust inside. The 6-blade aperture is clean without oil and stops down to f/16 with full-stop clicks. Tested, works well.
