The Kodak Vigilant Junior Six-16 is a folding roll film camera produced by Eastman Kodak Co. New York, United States, from April 1940 until June 1948. It came in several lens variants; this is the best version, with a focusing 3-element Bimat lens in a Dakon shutter. It has a three-speed shutter (approximately1/25, 1/50, & 1/100 of a second, plus B- and T-settings) with f-stops f/8.8, f/11, f/16, f/22 and f/32. Although originally designed for 116 film, which is no longer manufactured, it works with current 120 films, achieving 6 panoramic exposures per roll. It features standard 1/4 inch 20 thread tripod mounts on the face and bottom for both portrait and landscape orientation, 2 cable-release ports, foldout tab for level camera placement on any flat surface. The camera has one fold-up frame viewfinder on the side and an angled mirror finder inside, and weighs 32.9 ounces.

This example is in average used condition. The bellows are flaking off paint inside and there are pinhole leaks in the corners that would need to be resealed if this camera were to be placed in use. The shutter works and lenses are intact. The lenses should be cleaned of dust if put into use. Free shipping in the US. Will be shipped in a padded envelope surrounded by foam inserts.
