This is a 28mm Auto-Wide Vemar camera lens with and M42 threaded mount. The focal length is 28mm with a Maximum Aperture of f/2.8 and a Minimum of f/16. It includes a hard-plastic screw-on rear cap, a metal push-on Lentar cap, and the original Vemar Auto case. It takes 62 mm filters. The metal housing has some light scuffs and light scratches, but the glass is excellent, with no scratches, mold, or damage. The 8-bladed diaphragm is the saw- tooth type, and the aperture is snappy, with no oil on the blades. The closest focus distance is 0.45m / 1.5ft, and the sample photos were taken at that distance with the lens adapted to a Canon EOS 2TI/550D. This lens is reported to have been made by Tokina, a company that sold to department stars under names like Vemar and Lentar. This vintage lens gets good reviews for rendering, bokeh, and sharpness when adapted to modern digital cameras.
