This vintage or antique door mail slot is about 6 7/8 inches wide and 2 1/4 inches high (172x58 mm). The slot is approximately 4 3/4 by 1 1/8 inches. The distance between screw holes is just shy of 6 inches. It is solid cast brass and weighs a bit over a half pound. The spring is in good condition, and the flap, which pushes inward, has nice resistance.
The right edge has a couple of small dents probably from when it was pried off a door, and it has the usual wear and scuffs, but no significant damage. The screws are not original, but we tested a pair that fit to ensure the threads were not stripped (they are not), so they are included. It is toned and spotted, and could be polished if desired.
