Old Onyx Faceted Stone Marble

This toy marble is made from the stone Onyx, and is 5/8 inch in diameter. I know it is old because, unlike most modern stone spheres, it is not perfectly spherical and has irregular and flattened spots typical of hand ground marbles. The faceting is similar, but less distinct than the faceting on the harder stone agate marbles. This marble might have been made in Mexico a long time ago. If you are trying to assemble a collection of different type of marbles, this is a nice example to add. You get the marble shown.
