Peltier "Rainbos" are the most likely type of Peltier found today because they were made in great numbers during the 1940s and 50s. The double bands around the equator of these marbles make them easy to pick out. The double band appearance gives the marble being given the name "baseballs." Produced in somewhat fewer numbers about the same period were various “multicolor Rainbos," most often with olive green or dark blue transparent bases.
