1947 Texaco Oil Highway Road Map of Illinois with Iowa-Missouri

This is a 1947 or 1948 Texaco Oil Gas Station highway road map of Illinois with Iowa and Missouri on the reverse. It has some smudges, a few short tears along creases, some pinholes at crease intersections, and a few pen marks (x's in a few spots). It still grades very good. It has a table of state and federal taxes per gallon the 48 states as of May 1947. Cover is emblazoned with "Paper is Precious", a holdover from World War II.
