Vintage 15-inch plastic Santa Clause Christmas Display painted

This vintage 15-inch tall plastic Santa Clause figurine, when lit, emits a nice even warm glow and gives cheer to any Christmas display. It is made of a thin, light hard and brittle plastic. It has a simple light fixture with a short cord without a switch. It might be made from a late form of celluloid (after they removed camphor and nitrocellulose from the recipe), but we are not 100% sure of its identification. It is in overall good shape, with nearly all paint intact, except a piece was broken in his hat's pompom (with a little tape and model paint you could make a decent restoration). It also has a melted indentation on the left side. We think it could be late 1940s or 1950s US made, or it could be as late as 1970s Japan made, but without more information, it is impossible to say. Despite the flaws it is a great old Santa you will enjoy owning. Will be packed well with bubble wrap.
