This is a Cinderella or fantasy Local Post dated 4 October 1976. It is postmarked in Rutherford New Jersey, and commemorates the Zynzmystr postmaster 3rd birthday of his Volkswagen beetle. It has an 1/2 cent ZLP stamp on the lower left corner with the Zynzmystr Local Post cancellation.
The Zynzmystr local post covers were produced by a New Jersey resident who created a large number of fantasy cover celebrating all sorts of events. Whenever the covers were mailed from a post office other than his another post office (when he went on trips), he stamped the covers "Foreign Places Branch." This only has the local post cancel, but the bonus on this piece is that it identifies the ZLP postmaster as Harold A. Effner Jr.
The cover has some stains on the ZLP stamp which I think is from the glue used, and it has a few light wrinkles, but otherwise the cover is in overall good condition. Will be shipped in the US via first class letter with light card stock.
