1902 President William McKinley Pressed Glass Bread Plate

This plate depicts William McKinley, 25th president of the United States, McKinley was born in 1843 was died in office in 1901, eight days after he was struck by an assassin's bullets. This pressed glass oval bread plate was produced in 1902 and measures 10.5 inches. It has a leaf pattern along the rim and stippled features including the cameo image of McKinley. It is embossed with the words "It is Gods Way" and "His Will Be Done" frames his image top and bottom. Condition is very good, with no chips or cracks, but it was used, and you can see some light knife marks, especially in reflected light.
