This is a gold tone Ike and Dick tie tack or lapel pin worn by a supporter of Dwight D. Eisenhower and Richard Nixon in either the 1952 or 1956 presidential elections. It appears to be a rare or hard to find piece. It is a bit over an inch across and has little evidence of wear. It has no other markings except the 2308412 patent number on the clasp, indicating it is the 1943 patented Balfour clasp. Add to you presidential election political memorabilia collection.
