This is a great looking deco style vintage green glass bowl. It is larger than typical for pressed glass bowls, and is a bit shy of thirteen inches across. It probably dates to the 1950s. It was made in a three-part mold, and you can see three faint seams. It has a ring pattern, and it looks a little like Hocking Glass Circle, but there is no record of a bowl like this in elegant glass lists for that pattern, so probably a different company made it under a different name.
It does have one important defect. Pressed glass often has little specks and air bubbles inside, and this is true with this bowl, but one of the bubbles at the rim of the glass popped and left a pit on the rim. From a distance, it looks like a dark air bubble, but under a magnifying glass, you can see a hole. There is also a scuff or abrasion on the inside about a third of an inch across inside the bowl about 2/3 of the way up the side (too hard to see in the photos). If you don't mind slight imperfection, this is a great bowl that displays well, and the price is right.
Will be shipped in a large box with lots of padding. Due to the size and weight of the box, shipping costs will be less if you live in the Northeast US, and very expensive on the West Coast. Three shipping options offered, so please check for the best price. Satisfaction guaranteed.
