MMA Cobalt Blue Ribbed Steigel Flask, Bottle or Vase with Pontil

This is a hand blown cobalt flask, and was probably sold by the Metropolitan Museum of Art and probably made by the Pairpoint Glass Company. It is made in the Stiegel or Pitkin style of flasks and lightly ribbed and stands about 5 3/45inches high by 2 1/4 inches deep and 3 3/4inches wide. There is a pontil on the base. It has some sand debris and air bubbles in and on the surface glass as as-made imperfections, and has faint wear on the base, but otherwise is in excellent condition with no scratches, cracks, or chips.
