Antique Brown Transferware Butter Pat Hulme Trilby Staffordshire

This is an antique Burslem Staffordshire butter pat made by Hulme in their Trilby pattern. It is marked with the company's name, pattern, and ENGLAND. It probably dates from the 1890s. It is three inches (7.5 cm) across and and has no chips or cracks, but does have some staining and some as-made underglaze bumps. Old butter pats like this are also popular as doll house miniatures.
