This fine and delicate porcelain china cup and saucer was made by Belleek Pottery Company of Fermanagh County, Ireland. This cup and saucer is from their traditional Neptune dinnerware line in fine translucent porcelain. The cup has the golden yellow luster glaze on the handle, as does the flat of the saucer. Each piece has the third green mark, which was used from 1965 to 1981. The saucer is 5 3/4 inches in diameter and the cup is 2 1/8 inches tall and 3 5/8 inches in diameter (top to bottom,without the handle). This style cup came in slightly different sizes over the years, so be sure to measure if you are matching it to another set.
It has no cracks, chips, crazing or repairs, and only the faintest wear on the saucer flat. More recent Neptune pattern cups and saucers are mostly found with pink highlights.
