Potting Shed Dedham Pottery
Dedham Pottery manufactured pottery in Dedham, Massachusetts between 1896 and 1943. Among the many patterns produced by the pottery were a cream pottery with black crazed lines, with a repeating bunny motif. In 1977, some Massachusetts pottery artists and fans of Dedham Pottery banded together to form the company the Potting Shed, and built a facility in West Concord, Massachusetts. They began making pieces in the same style as the original Dedham bunny pieces. Many of the Potting Shed pieces are as collectible as the original Dedham Pottery pieces. The company makes both matching dinnerware sets as well as figurines, ornaments, and other whimsies.
