This is a Potting Shed Dedham Pottery food mold, sometimes called a Jello plate. This crackle glaze piece was made by The Potting Shed company of West Concord, MA. The company formed in 1977 by Massachusetts pottery artists and fans of Dedham Pottery, famous for its crackle glaze, and which closed its factory in 1943.
There are two small holes on the top to hang it, and there is an an old string still tied off. It measures approximately 10 1/2" long, 8 1/2" wide and 2+" high. It is initialed by the artist and dated 1994.
It appears not to have been used because it still has the paper label inside, and it was likely hung on a wall for some time. It is undamaged, but it does have a little wear and a slight stain on the shank of the rabbit, probably from resting on a shelf face down for some time. Despite the very slight wear, it is in nice condition and if you like The Potting Shed's Dedham Pottery pieces, this is a nice one to own.
