Woods Burslem Pink Colonial 10 in. Dinner Plate Wood and Sons

This pink transferware dinner plate was made by Woods, Burslem, England in the Colonial Pink pattern. It is also sometimes listed under the name Wood & Sons as the company changed its name but continued the pattern. It shows a pastoral scene of a river, gristmill, and farm cottage. This plate measures about 10" across. This is the heavy weight version of the pattern.

The plate is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or crazing. When you look at the surface reflection, it is nice and glossy and there are almost no utensil marks. Back has the normal kiln rest marks and a few stray color marks.
