Large Sterling Silver Brooch Made in England 22 grams

This is a vintage sterling silver brooch. Its dimensions are 2 3/8 x 1 3/4 inches (60 x 45 mm). It was made in England and weighs 22.1 grams. It has a cardboard insert, and probably once held a porcelain cameo. It has a simple hooked clasp, and can also be strung vertically on chain by the loop. The absence of hallmarks is not unusual on vintage British silver jewelry. The four clips appear to be just pinched on, and not soldered, and the back oval has a seam, so appears to consist of two pieces that nest together. It has tarnish, but can be cleaned up when it is reassembled with a new insert. It is a nice old piece for a jewelry maker.
