De Porceleyne Fles Royal Delft Clog Dutch Shoe dated 1958

This is a ceramic dutch shoe or clog made by De Porceleyne Fles, also know as Royal Delft as indicated by the back marks. It is about two inches tall and 4 inches across (5 x 10 cm). De Porceleyne Fles is a 300-year-old company that became designated "Royal Delft" in 1919 and is arguably the most attractive and collectible Delft manufacturer. It is is initialed by the artist (uku) and the cc is the date mark, standing for 1958. The clog also has the original foil label which is somewhat worn.
