This Soligor multicoated wide angle prime has a focal length of 28mm, a 6-blade aperture, and is f2.8. It has a Canon FD mount. Its dimensions are 60 x 42 mm and weighs 185 grams (6.52 ounces), and is made of metal with a rubber focus grip. It takes 49mm filters. This example is in fine condition, with no haze, fungus, or scratches on the lens, no oil on the aperture blades, and only modest scuffing on the metal parts. The aperture works fine and optics tested with a Fotodiox adapter and a dumb FD to EOS adapter for the macro testing. Soligor was a photographic equipment supplier based in the U.S. and Germany that sold third party lenses. Based on the first three digits of the serial number begins, this example was made by the Japanese manufacturer Got? Sun (aka Sun Optical) in 1983. Lenses marked with C/D (computer designed or compact design) represented the company's premium quality line. Comes with the Canon rear cap shown.
