In this category we have antique, vintage and other collectible bottles and jars for sale. Values of bottles are determined by a variety of factors including age, rarity, demand, manufacturing method, advertising, use, glass color, presence of a label, and eye appeal. Unless your bottle has a label or words embossed upon it which can be researched online, the biggest challenge facing the novice collector will be identifying the age of the bottle and its type or use. Every new collector needs a copy of Kovel's bottle guide as a start; it is inexpensive and is a great guide in understanding the different bottle types and their values. For more guidance, go to our bottle identification page for additional information and links.
