Old burned design wood trinket snuff pill box treen pyrography

This is an old or antique piece of treen with pyrographic work. It is a small carved and burned trinket, snuff , or pill box. It stands only 1 1/4 inches tall and 1 /34 in. across (3 x 4.5 cm). It is very light, and may be made of birch wood. It appears to have a design on the lid of a pulpit like flower or leaf fronds. The rest of the box has random burn marks and indents. The lid fits snugly, and it is undamaged.
