The is small map and directory booklet titled "Welcome to New York: Presented with the Compliments of Insurance Companies Comprising The Royal Liverpool Groups. It was published by the Royal Liverpool Insurance Groups, and according to Google Books, was published in 1936, although no date is evident. It is 24 pages long, is 7/12 by 3 1/2 inches, and the color map, which is glued to the back panel, measures approximately 21 1/2” x 12-3/4”. The map shows rail and subway lines of the era. The red card stock covers are clean, with a faint crease and dent on the back cover. On one of the back appointment pages is a note about some event. The overall condition is fine and it appears to have been little used.

Contents include baseball fields and arenas, bus lines and terminals, clubs, golf and country clubs, ferries, baseball, hotels, hotels Brooklyn, insurance companies casualty, insurance companies fire, night and supper clubs, places of interest, railroad terminals, restaurants, stores, swimming beaches and pools, theater and movie houses, and tourist information sites. The map would look nice framed. This is a nice 1930s era New York City collectible. Shipped in a poly sleeve.
