Spanish War 1898 Remember the Battleship Maine Souvenir Spoon

This is a historical souvenir spoon commemorating the event that started the Spanish-American war. The bowl has in raised lettering and design, "US BATTLESHIP MAINE", an image of the ship, and "BLOWN UP IN HAVANA HARBOR FEB 18 1898". On the handle is an anchor, a shield showing stars over stripes and a depiction of Captain Sigsbee. It is about 4 1/4 inches long and is silver plated. On the back it is stamped "Comp. Old Grist Mill", which indicates it was a premium given out compliments of Old Grist Mill Coffee. It has some wear but is undamaged and in overall very good condition.
