This a set of 24 mini real photo cards of US Army Air Corps Planes in service. They are about 1 11/16 x 2 11/16 inches (42 x 68 mm). Based on the fact that the cards refer to US Army Air Corps on some, and date of the newest planes, the set was probably printed about 1943 at the height of the war. The cards have a slight curl to them, were handled, but are generally good condition. They appear to have been pasted in to some sort of scrap booklet on black paper which remains stuck to double stick tape attached to their backs. Each card has a reference number of the card on the bottom right, and the name of the plane, sometimes with a short comment or the manufacturer's logo.
Planes in the set are labeled: B-26 Marauder, Douglas A-24 Army Dive Bomber, Airacobra squadron, D-47-A, Curtis P36-A Camouflaged, NA B-25, Douglas C-54, Line up of Planes, Ryan, YPT-16, P-39 Takeoff, AT-6, BC-1A Basic, B-24, B17-B, [unk] Practice Flight, P38, P51 Mustang, P36, "latest flying fortress", B17E, A17, B25, PT-22, B-19. A few of these planes were uncommon. The set will be shipped in a small box
