Peltier Glass Company Swirl Marbles were mostly made in the 1920s and 1930s. Some collectors previously called these Miller Machine swirls in the belief that this early marble machine made the swirl pattern, but these machines made both swirl and non-swirl marbles, and collectors are increasingly avoiding the term Miller Machine. The marbles have a single seam, and are often characterized by bright colors and have a distinctive folded in swirl pattern. Those in transparent or translucent glass are often easiest to recognize.
