Of the various Peltier marbles, the National Line Rainbos (NLRS), especially those in particular color combinations are among the most valuable old machine made marbles, some selling for hundreds of dollars at auction. These marbles have been given names like Christmas trees, rebels, golden rebels, ketchup and mustard, and so forth. These marbles were produced in the 1920s and 1930s and are hard to find, especially in good condition. Peltier marbles often have air bubbles in the glass, and when these break, and form what are called “blow holes”. These are common in the older Peltier marbles, including the NLRs, and detract only slightly from their value.
