Vintage Taxco Mexico Sterling Silver Earrings French Hook Dangle

This is a nice set of vintage earrings made in Taxco, Mexico. They are marked with a signature square on one, "925 Mexico TS81". They have a good weight, weighing 14.8 grams, or a bit under 1/2 of a Troy ounce. The letter numbering system began in Mexico in 1979. The T stands for the city of Taxco, and the S-81 stands for the 61st jeweler registered with a last name beginning with S. They have good workmanship, with all the dangles individually hammered and shaped. They hang very nicely and are attractive.
