JABO Marbles

JABO, Inc., was organized in 1987. In 1996, the company purchased Vitro Agate Company and became Jabo-Vitro. The company primarily produced industrial marbles but occasionally the company produced limited runs of colored swirls in a variety of colors. The special run marbles became known as Jabo Classic Swirls. Jabo-Vitro swirls typically have tiny white hit marks that are the result of the marbles made of soft glass that was bruised when the marbles land into the collection bins. By about 2012, the company dissolved.
