This Olympus 75-150mm zoom was a popular versatile lens introduced in 1974 for its 35mm film cameral OM1 line, and continued until 1984. The OM optical design consists of 15 elements in 11 groups. It was designed for compactness, having a length of 115mm (at infinity), weighing 440g, and a 49 mm filter ring, making it the smallest and lightest of the Zuiko tele zooms. It has a built in hood that slides over the lens cap, and about a 150 degree throw. Despite its small size it features a bright f4 8-blade aperture that stops down to f22. It is not a push pull zoom; rather, there are separate focal distance and focusing rings. It is par focal, meaning, once the subject is in focus, the lens can be zoomed without the need to refocusing when the focal length is changed. It is somewhat soft at f4, but sharpens quickly at higher f stops. It was sold as an all-purpose zoom, but also does flattering portraits.

This example is used but has no damages or scratches to the glass, and no fungus or haze. The aperture blades are snappy with no oil on the blades. There are only some tiny specks of dust inside that do not affect image quality. The body and caps have some light scuffs. The case has more wear, but did its job of protecting the lens. This is a great lens to use with a vintage 35mm Olympus SLR film cameras, or adapted to modern digital cameras. It does not require corrective optics when adapting to Canon EOS cameras, a simple dumb adapter will do.
