Antique Fancy Bennington Pottery Marble 5/8 inch

This is a Bennington marble that is just over 5/8 of an inch in diameter. It is a so-called "fancy" Bennington because it is multicolored. Bennington Marbles are glazed pottery marbles that were made principally before World War I. This example has more blue on one side than the other, and it has a flat unglazed spot from where it likely rested on the kiln.
