Heisey Glass Co. 10 in Celery Tray Relish Dish Queen Ann Empress

This glass tray was made by the Heisey Glass Company, one of the foremost American glass makers. This celery tray (sometimes sold as a pickle dish or relish tray) was made in the Queen Ann pattern, also known as Number 1401, which was introduced in 1938. The pattern was re-issued in colors in later years and renamed Empress. It is 10.5 inches (26 cm) long, has a ground base rim, and has the Heisey H-in-triangle embossed on the base. It has no cracks, chips, or damage, and nearly no evidence of wear.
