This is a nice antique bristol glass vase, most likely from the 1890s, but could be later or earlier. It is seven inches tall, made of a clam broth or greyish milk glass, with fired enamel painted decoration. It was blown, and the base is ground and polished flat eliminating evidence of the pontil. In terms of condition, it has no cracks chips or repairs, but has wear and los of the enamel decoration. The lip, which is ground flat, has a tiny flake, although it seems to have gold leaf inside (see magnified view). This is a small and elegant bud vase.
