Antique Cased Cobalt Glass Vase with Enamel Decorations

This is a beautiful 5 1/2 inch tall cased cobalt glass vase with enamel decorations. It was hand blown, hand tooled, and hand decorated. It might be an American piece as old as the 1880s, or it might be Bohemian glass from as late as the 1920s. It has no cracks, chips, or repairs, it has slight wear on the base, and small tooling marks on the body. The top lip appears to have once has gold paint, but that is now all abut worn off. The flash makes the white glass layer underneath reflect. Without the flash, the glass is a traditional dark cobalt look.
