Vintage Kenner's Spirograph set No. 401 1967 w/ Pattern Booklet

This is an original vintage Kenner's Spirograph set, No. 401 and includes a 1967 copyright Pattern Booklet, the base board, some original paper, and an open refill kit envelope (paper half used, with guide sheet), and 4 original pens (ink dried, need new refills). It has all the plastic tracing pieces except the smallest one (#24). Pieces have wear, some original paper, box has tape marks, and one corner separated.

The modern spirograph toy was developed by British engineer Denys Fisher and first sold in in the UK in 1965. US distribution rights were acquired by Kenner, Inc. in 1966, which widely marketed the toy in the the United States beginning 1967.
