Lot of 12 1930s Trinity College Cambridge Real Photo Postcards

Here is a nice lot of 12 real photo postcards of various scenes of Trinity College, Cambridge. They are sepia toned with a matte finish. They were produced by the Photochrom co. Ltd at Turnbridge Wells, Kent, England, UK. Photos include Bridge of Signs, the Great Gate, Emmanuel College, Queens College, the Great Court, and other scenes.

They are probably from the 1930s. The stamp box in the corner "1d STAMP if with only sender's name and address and 5 words conventional greeting." This inscription dates the cards to before May 1940 when postal rates increased to 2d.

They have a slight curl to them, but they are unused, have no writing, have mostly sharp corners, and are in overall fine condition. They will interest the historical collector or you may just want to mail these antique postcards the next time you visit Trinity College. We offer this lot of 12 at a great combined price.
