Napa City, CA Postal Cover Fancy Cancel DPO Dead Post Office

This is a June 20, 1887 postal cover from Napa City California, to Roxbury, Massachusetts. The backmark is for the Roxbury Station in Boston, and is dated June 27, only a 7 day cross country transit time. The "Napa City" postmark was only in use from 1850 to 1890 and is collected as Dead or Discontinued Post Office. The cover was roughly opened on the side, and is also water stained along that edge. It has a nice fancy cancel, and almost looks like Chinese characters, but is probably just a random design. It will be shipped via first class mail letter with card stock.
